Hononegah Archery

About Us

Hononegah Archery was founded in 2014 and became a non-profit in 2017. Our primary goal is to bring Youth Archery Programs like JOAD, NASP, and S3DA to Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin Schools and Communities so students with disabilities can enjoy the lifelong sport of Archery, and an opportunity to compete in a sport from the same starting line as their mainstream peers. Our "On Track Archery" program allows folks with a mobility disability to use our $15,000 Action Track Wheelchair at our Archery Classes and events, or to even go bow hunting. When the Outdoor Wheelchair isn't being utilized, the public may borrow it for a day free! Julie's Archers for Autism is our annual Fundraiser for Autism Research at the University of Wisconsin Waisman Center.
